MEASURED STEPS

Soft and measured steps we take

as though we think the silence sleeps.

But for the bold strides we might make

it is the soul-less Self that weeps.

With mind and heart united

let us stand in our channel of grace

that our Higher Purpose may enfold us

in her gentle embrace, enlightening

both our burden and our vision,

on earth as it is in heaven.
